Adding Twitter

InstantPage® features a Twitter® app that lets you connect to your Twitter account or display tweets from users you enter. You can display tweet replies and mentions, and include hashtags and text selections in search terms.

To Add Twitter to InstantPage

  1. Log in to your InstantPage account by going to your InstantPage site and clicking Owner Login.
  2. From the Apps tab, go to Select Apps, and then click Twitter. The Twitter app displays in the My Apps list.
  3. In the Menu Name section, enter the name for the Twitter app you want to display in the menu block.
  4. In the Title section, enter the name you want to display on the Twitter app when it opens.
  5. Select one of the following options:
    • My tweets — Connects to your Twitter account.
      • Click Connect to Twitter.
      • Enter the user name and password for your Twitter account.
      • Click Authorize app to let InstantPage use your Twitter account.
      • Upon successful connection, if you want to display tweets directed at you, select Include @replies.
      • If you want to display tweets forwarded to you, select Include retweets.
      • If you want to display tweets from users you follow, select Include followed users' tweets.
    • Search public tweets — Shows public tweets via user name.
      • In the Twitter usernames section, enter the names of the users whose tweets you want to display.
      • If you want to display tweets directed at the users you entered, select Include @replies.
      • If you want to display tweets that include the names of users you entered, select Include mentions.
      • If you want to display tweets associated with particular hashtags or topics, enter the hashtags in the #Hashtags field.
      • If you want to display tweets associated with particular search terms, enter the search terms in the Search terms field.
  6. Click Save. The Twitter app displays in your menu block.

To edit the app, click the Wrench Icon, and then make your changes.
